What is International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISEB/ISTQB) Software Testing Foundation?
ISTQB is a program about software testing principles and practices. It was developed by an international team of testing experts. The program aims to teach the fundamentals to advanced aspects of software testing, to recognize testers, provide standard framework for the development of tester’s careers, and promote consistent and good testing practices.
What are the qualifications in ISEB/ISTQB?
ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing Foundation is not strict with their requirements, just as long as the candidate is interested in software testing. It would be helpful if the candidate already has experience in software development or software testing.
What are the pre-requisites to be qualified?
There are no pre-requisites required to be qualified, just basic working knowledge in IT is needed. In addition, the Certification doesn’t expire and doesn’t need to be renewed.

The examination fee is $350.
Examination Process to Evaluate Competency in ISEB/ISTQB
ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certification is a one-hour examination that consists of 40 multiple choice questions. Passing score is 26 and up. Check more FAQs from the ISTQB official site.
