In the next article we will cover ISEB/ISTBQ certification.
Why is this one of the best testing certifications compared to the others?
You say “How can a software testing team do all the responsibilities while delivering competitive and quality work? Certifications like CSTE and ISEB/ISTBQ help these teams.” How do they help? Do they ensure people know how to test? Do they teach testers a common language that all other testers, developers, etc. speak?
Don’t you find it odd that a requirement is just in the IT services field and not in a development or testing role?
Thanks for your comment Chris. I have personally taken this certification and the syllabus is quite extensive. I have seen papers and syllabus of other certifications too, so it all comes from my experience. As I said above these are NOT the sole criteria but they do help in gaining valuable insights about software testing especially if someone is new to this industry.
